A neighborhood where every street tells a different story, a different struggle for survival, heartbreaking disappointments, a search for hope, families in conflict, forbidden loves, and unrequited passions. All of this and more will be witnessed through the eyes of four close friends living in the neighborhood: Seyfi, Gülali, Fevzi, and Murat.
Gülümser (Ayça Bingöl) is the mother of Gülali, one of these four children. Despite everything, Gülümser tries to stand on her own two feet and care for her son.
However, she cannot escape a forbidden and secret love affair with the neighborhood's handsome and tough minibus driver, Halil. Halil is also in love with Gülümser. He wants to build a life with her. Eşref (Mete Horozoğlu) is the neighborhood's big brother, both feared and respected.
