Dogan is a man at peace with himself. A young lawyer with a promising career, he is a man of simple tastes who lives by his own code. Assured, confident, and content, Dogan is the most self-sufficient man you’ll ever meet. He’s not an introvert; he just doesn’t need anybody’s approval. At the same time, Dogan’s cool detachment makes people like him all the more. There is only one chink in Dogan’s armor, and that’s Melike, the lifelong friend he has loved since they were 5 years old. Melike is a beautiful woman with a ENDLESS energy. Captivating and enchanting, she’s used to being the center of attention. But for all her swagger, Melike is actually a lonely person. Never satisfied, she’s always searching for something more. Dogan pities her for this, but he loves her anyway. Despite their differences, Melike is the only woman for him. Melike has never thought of Dogan as anything but a dear friend, but when they reconnect after her second divorce, she realizes that Dogan is the only person she could always count on, the one person who has always loved her unconditionally.
