Zerrin Aksoy is a proud mother of three children she raised single handedly. When the youngest daughter Öykü announces that she is to marry her very rich boyfriend, her big sister Rüya is considered an old spinster and looked upon with pity. In frustration, Rüya tells everyone she is having a relationship with a famous actor, but the truth is that he doesn’t even know she exists. The arrival of a new family in the neighbourhood - the “love doctor” Merter and his sister - stir up a lot of emotions in the Aksoy family; Zerrin's son Serkan is smitten by the love doctor’s sister while Zerrin is clearly troubled by the sibling’s presence. Is she hiding a secret from her own children? Meanwhile Öykü’s dreams of a happy marriage are dashed when she discovers her fiance has been unfaithful. She falls in to the arms of another man but rather than a happy ending, this is just the beginning of a whole world of problems…
